Hi, it’s Jack. Today we’d like to show you how to change the oven temp sensor on your range, it’s a really easy job. All we’re going to need is a quarter inch nut driver or a number one square head screwdriver. Let me show you how we do it.

Now to do this repair, we will need to disconnect power to the range so simply unplug it. We’ll also need access to the back of the range so we’ll need to pull it forward enough that we can access the back. Now that we have access to the back of the range, we’ll next need to remove this lower access panel. Now it’s attached to the upper panel with a single screw so we’ll take that one out.

Then there are three screws on either side and then one more at the top. Now that we have access to the back of the range, we’ll next we can remove this lower– Now that we have access to the back of the range, we’ll next need to remove this lower–Now that we have access to the back of the range, we’ll next need to remove this lower access panel. Now the top of that panel is poking behind the upper panel and it also sits on a couple of these slots on the bottom so we’ll need to either flex the top of it out. If it feels a bit tight, just lift up in the bottom, we’ll do it that way instead.
